DOCUMENTARY
FILMMAKING
CLASSES

for kids & teens

Welcome!

We offer Documentary Filmmaking Classes for middle & high school youth.

Our mission is to help young people build creativity and storytelling skills through the study of documentary filmmaking.

Unlike music videos, narratives or even the talking heads of youtube, documentaries are well thought out exercises in story development and individual perspective.

They also require truly independent vision, research and development…allowing each student a way to express his or her point of view from beginning to end, without much compromise.

The Benefits

Documentary filmmaking allows for kids to hone skills that can easily translate into multiple creative fields including journalism, news/feature producing, video editing, story development, creative writing and photography.

It’s project based learning that can also help with endeavors such as high school & college presentations and even social activism.
